Helen Richards embarked on her military journey at the young age of 17 when she joined the Royal Navy, later transitioning to a role as a PCSO within Hampshire Constabulary. It was during her dedicated service in the police that Helen recognised the glaring lack of well-being initiatives in place, despite the considerable stress endured by officers and staff.
Motivated by personal experiences, including her husband Ron’s medical retirement following an on-duty injury, Helen delved into the realm of well-being with unwavering determination. Witnessing the detrimental impact of stress and mental health challenges first-hand, she resolved to take action and make a difference.
With a hands-on approach, Helen personally engaged with numerous companies, offering her expertise in massage therapy. She then curated a team of top-tier therapists and esteemed professionals to further enhance the well-being services provided.
Residing in Portsmouth, Hampshire, alongside her husband Ron and their three children – Jessica, Harry, and Zac, Helen finds joy in leisurely pursuits like movie nights, dining out, and cherishing moments in Norfolk, her childhood home. Amidst her dedication to promoting well-being, Helen also values moments of relaxation with her family.
